Cityscape Global 2024, the largest real estate exhibition in the world, opened its four-day event in Riyadh today. Supported by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Municipalities and Housing as part of the Vision 2030 initiative, the event attracted more than 400 exhibitors including major investors such as BlackRock, Apollo Global Management and BNP Paribas.
The theme of the exhibition is 'Future of Life', with a focus on sustainability, digitalization and inclusion. The event will feature 150 hours of expert-led discussions covering innovations in building technologies, smart city development and mega projects such as NEOM, New Murabba and ROSHN.
Rachel Sturgess, senior vice president of Tahaluf, said Cityscape Global will be an important platform for international developers and investors to strengthen Saudi Arabia's position in the global real estate market.
Cityscape Global has already established itself as a platform for multi-billion dollar deals. Last year's event ended with a record-breaking $30 billion worth of deals.
Vision 2030 is Saudi Arabia's strategic program for economic diversification and infrastructure development, including the goal of achieving 70% homeownership among citizens.
For ordinary people, this means improved living conditions through affordable housing, sustainable technologies and new jobs in the construction industry.
According to Nadhmi Al Nasr, CEO of NEOM, the projects showcased at Cityscape Global will be key to shaping new standards of living and urban environments.
Cityscape Global demonstrates Riyadh's global significance as a hub for real estate innovation, bringing participants together to realize the bold goals of Vision 2030.
