NEOM has officially announced the construction of Hidden Marina - the first phase of the ambitious megaproject THE LINE. The announcement was made by Denis Hickey, NEOM's Director of Development, during the PIF Private Sector Forum in Riyadh.

According to a Saudi Gazette report, Hidden Marina will cover 2.5km in length and 500m in height, combining three modules designed to accommodate more than 200,000 people. The total built-up area will be 21 million square meters, significantly larger than the Burj Khalifa in Dubai (350,000 square meters).
The city will include 80,000 residential units, 9,000 hotel rooms, commercial and retail areas, and social facilities such as schools, fire stations and police stations. Its construction has attracted 140,000 workers from 100 countries, 40% of whom are Saudi professionals.
Financing for the project exceeds $140 billion and its infrastructure covers energy, water, transportation and communications.
Hidden Marina is a revolution in urban planning, combining advanced technology, sustainable development and innovative urban solutions. Construction is already well underway and the first phases are scheduled to be realized in the coming years.
