The largest health resort Therme Dubai will open in the UAE
Therme Dubai, the world's largest wellness resort with a height of 100 meters, will open in Dubai's Zabeel Park in 2028. The AED 2 billion ($545 million) project is backed by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and is part of the Quality of Life 2033 strategy.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the construction of Therme Dubai, the world's tallest health resort. The new 500,000 square foot complex will come to Zabeel Park, one of Dubai's largest green spaces, and will be able to welcome up to 1.7 million visitors annually.
The project, being developed in conjunction with Therme Group, will include an aquatic entertainment area with 15 slides, thermal pools, relaxation areas with saunas and steam baths, and the world's largest indoor botanical garden with more than 200 species of plants. Three 18-meter waterfalls will be a special feature of the resort, as well as unique art installations and cultural exhibitions.
According to Sheikh Hamdan, the project aims to develop urban biodiversity and environmental sustainability. He also emphasized that the opening of the resort will be an important step in strengthening Dubai's position as the world's leading wellness tourism center.
Therme Dubai will become a new symbol of Dubai, combining wellness trends, sustainable development and architectural innovation. This large-scale project will not only expand the city's tourism opportunities, but also emphasize its status as one of the world's leading ecotourism centers.
