RAK Properties and Ellington Properties have selected China's Nantong Construction Group Co. as the general contractor for the Porto Playa luxury residential development. The AED 310 million project will be part of the Mina masterplan in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Porto Playa will offer buyers studios, apartments, townhouses and villas focused on modern comfort and integration with natural landscapes. One of the key features of the project will be the use of artificial intelligence technology to optimize views of the Arabian Gulf and island landscapes.

Ellington Properties co-founder Joseph Thomas added that the project is set to set a new standard for real estate and will be a landmark development that will transform Hayat Island.
Porto Playa is part of the larger Mina development plan, which has already attracted significant investor attention. The growing demand for luxury housing in Ras Al Khaimah is being driven by the region's economic development and the government's strategy to attract international investment.
In addition, the development is being built against the backdrop of the active development of island resort areas in the UAE, including projects involving advanced technology and eco-friendly solutions.
For potential investors and real estate buyers, the Porto Playa project opens up new opportunities to purchase luxury housing in a promising area of the UAE. Modern technologies, high quality construction and favorable location make the complex attractive both for living and investment.
The construction of Porto Playa at Hayat Island marks an important step in the development of real estate in Ras Al Khaimah. The joint project between RAK Properties and Ellington Properties promises to set new standards for comfortable and technologically advanced housing, attracting investors and buyers from all over the world.
